Connecting to MS Access via Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider

On the File menu, choose the New menu item.

Select Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider from the list.

Select the Connection tab or click the Next button and specify
how to connect to the data source:
Select database
Type the Microsoft Access database (.mdb) file
name that you want to access.
User Name
Type the database user name to use for authentication.
If the user name is not specified the OLE DB provider uses Admin
Password
Type the database password or leave the field blank if
the database file doesn’t require authentication.

Click the Test Connection button to attempt a connection to the
specified data source. If the connection fails, ensure that the settings are
correct.

Click the OK button.
