Connecting to Sybase SQL Anywhere via Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere Provider

• On the File menu, choose the New menu item.
• Select Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere Provider from the list.
• Select the Connection tab or click the Next button and specify how to connect to the data source:

Data Source
Type the name of the data source you want to access.

Use a specific user name and password
Click to use a supplied user name and password to authenticate your logon information to the data source.

• Click the Test Connection button to attempt a connection to the specified data source. If the connection fails, ensure that the settings are correct.
• Click the OK button.
